The goal of our Aviation Program is to expand youth’s knowledge over the history of aviation, various pioneers who contributed to aviation, and the push between billionaire companies to be the first to create living quarters in space. Scholars will launch on a mission to discover the first origins of aviation; studying kites, hot air balloons, air crafts, and space shuttles. Scholars will learn team-building skills by helping to build and launch a team rocket. Put your creative thinking skills to work as we take a journey on a mission to Mars, diving into a brief history of the past space race and the current billionaire space racers to be the first to put humans into space privately.  Billionaire founders such as Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX; Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon; and Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Media are working relentlessly to form viable solutions to ‘go where no man has gone before’. Get a taste of the future as we dip into the world of drones and competitive racing. Scholars will learn how to mount, calibrate, hover, and race FPV drones (first-person video). We start the third week with an activity focused on listening skills as an instructor teaches the youth basic controls of flying. Enroll your child!
