Go Scholars STEAMUp Summer Workshop: “A Day in the Life – Content Creator Workshop with Historian, Inventor, and Community Servant Brother Jamaal Shabazz”

Join us for an inspiring one-day STEAM-based workshop designed to introduce students to the exciting world of content creation, storytelling, media, branding, and community impact. Participants will hear Brother Jamaal Shabazz share his journey as a historian, inventor, and community leader while discussing the opportunities, challenges, pros, and cons of using media and content creation as tools for education, entrepreneurship, and positive change.

Students will participate in hands-on learning activities focused on creativity, communication, digital storytelling, branding, and content development while exploring how creators use technology and media to inform, inspire, and influence communities. Through interactive discussions and creative exercises, youth will build confidence, communication skills, critical thinking, and creative expression while gaining exposure to career pathways within digital media, content creation, entrepreneurship, and STEAM-related industries.
